Today was the very first time my Project Work group met OUTSIDE of school. VERY FIRST TIME! FYI, our grp meets VERY VERY rarely, occasionally during our PW lesson. Only 3/4 of our members were here today anyway. Coincidentally, all of us were christian. Anw, I prayed before I came for the meeting. I was like praying that the meeting wouldn't be fruitful. After which I went for the meeting, and the typical meeting stuff. After that we came to our public education part. We were stuck. Stuck for quite a while... I was at first demoralized. THEN SUDDENLY, BOOMZ! (as in seriously BOOMZ.) Leonard threw up an idea about the model thing. And WOOT we took off - without a runway. At the back of my mind, I was like "Praise God! Hallelujah!" I wouldnt say this is a TESTIMONY, but I believe that God is working in us every single day, every second. Anw PW ideas were out and we were done in a jiffy...

Went to church for sound duty after that.... Sermon was rather interesting. Too late for my exams though. Haha.

Because studying:

is not just about getting the TOP score
Not just about gathering hard skills
(technical stuff eg math, science, econs, languages, engineering)

I'ts also about maximising your learning
Gaining soft skills
(eg character building, interpersonal skills, right attitude, foundation)

->Tips for studying smart
1. PAY attention in class: Be a consistent worker, be disciplined; do not skp your lessons, do your homework daily, revise regularly
2. PLAN your timetable: Fail to plan=plan to fail; set a realistic timetable, plan some buffers; stick to your plan, adjust if necessary
3. PREPARE yourself well: set aside some time to study everyday; pace yourself, keep the momentum; make good summaries and notes
Summary=very powerful skill in life.
4. PASS your exam papers - A MUST!: do and do, anticipate questions; get help for your week subjects
5. Proper meals and sleep: Eat prooper meals, on time; at least 8 hours of sleep
6. PLAY hard: excercise, relax the mind
7. PARTNER/PEER PRESSURE: form a study group, sutdy with friends; don't be afraid to ask for help, clarify doubts; good to have some peer pressure, create competitive spirit, comare results
8. POSITIVE spirit, outlook: treat each failure as a learning experience, a stepping stone to higher ground
9. PERSEVERE till the end: do not give up, keep going and finish the race; give yourself some motivation/aim after the exams; be very disciplined, do no be distracted.
10. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY: seek the Lord and ask for His devine help; Remember to pray before and after every paper; achieve results that will glorify him; adopt the right attitude that wil bear witness for Him; till people around you sahy " there is someting different about this boy/girl...; Study for Him
