Just a random post for reference.

I went for a photo duty (for LSBC) at Bethesda care centre. Some very suggestive shots! (NOT MY FAULT!) I met some CHS guys there like Wei Kiat, Hong Hui, et al.

I recall this phrase when I was studying in Montfort Junior School, 5I or 6I... (Cannot really recall) And one fateful day, my form teacher then, Ms Koh Kui Teng was commenting on the fact that we people were not observant and didn't realize that some quote was actually pasted outside the door. I think we were scolded for something or stuff like that, but I cannot recall at all. What I do know was this quote.

After existing on the face of planet earth for quite a while, one would probably have experienced real and 'not so real' friendship. For one, many people have 'made use' of me, exploiting my skills and abilities in several areas, especially IT. One drawback about showing skills in the area of IT is that people will start treating you as technical support. Trust me. I'm not saying that everyone who asks me for help in IT stuff aren't real friends, but I can tell you that it is very irritating for people to constantly ask you for help in IT stuff, especially trouble shooting, etc.

The problem is that its not easy saying 'no'. One quality of a true leader is to be assertive enough to say 'NO', yet not hurt people's feelings or create a political situation. Tactfulness is something that I lack, truly. Unknowingly, helping somebody troubleshoot a problem is really a time vampire. You are sucked out of so much of your time, especially when you need to go down physically to the other person's house. Charging them is not a problem - some don't mind paying. But the reason why I have not done so is because it feels very insincere, if you get what I mean. I am a person who either goes all out to do something for someone, or not do it at all. By charging, my main motive of helping that person is money. Hence, the "going all out" criteria is not met.

Luckily, not everyone has been like that. Once, I went to Manfred's house to do him a favour - His mum even bought me dinner... XD So well, I guess its not that bad after all :D

Anyway, always remember this my friends: "A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out" (sorry I don't know where its quoted from)

I have never seen such a large bill before. ^^
