Some people do not believe my "three words to one line" and "STACKS of paper" (as opposed to scripts) which I handed in during my Sec 3/4 History/Social Studies exams.

VJC is an OK JC lah... Abit far that's all. Nice people;nice teachers;ok ambience. No major complaints about anything. My class 09S32 is a nice class, nice ppl too... CCAs are not so ok... but still ok. Very boring, very slack - with the exception of MedSoc, coz I have yet to see what it is like -I only went for welcome tea party.

Anyway, for the guys back at CHS: MR is coming. If you guys have any problems and need me to solve your problems, please contact me & arrange consultation on a case by case basis. I should be free this saturday as of now. The teachers won't be in school - as of what I know so far - thus lab will not be open. So if excos or otherwise, if you want to meet me, can also meet outside school be it for help in MRs, CCA stuff or like even if you need somebody to talk to. By the way, this msg goes out to the ICC guys: I recently had some new ideas, inspirations and knowledge. If you want me to share, I'll be more than glad. At least, trust me. It won't be as elementary stuff as VJC iComp was attempting to teach me today [tsk tsk (-_-")] By the way even if you are non Nucleii and want to meet me, also can. Just contact me!!!

Sunburnt after Sea Sports Carnival 2017 Orientation >>>
Thursday, February 08, 2018
10:46 PM

Sigh. Sea Sports Carnival was ok. Pushed myself out of my comfort zone. Ended up as red as a tomato.

Daren the red nose raindeer.... My nose has started peeling

Wearing a watch keeps ur wrist white... Uneven sunburning. My upper arm is like totally white too. The V-neck tee (nucleii t-shirt) caused the front neck area to be red as well. Not as bad though...

Yup, that's the neck. My head was blocking the UV rays most of the time - which leads me to think: is my scalp sunburnt? Will it start peeling too? LOL!

The back of my neck is RED!!!

My feet were not spared. The only protection were the sandal straps.

I am not surprised that i'm being flamed for my A to Z. At least its HOT... (-_-")
Sooner or later, the entire VJ will get to know about it.

VJC Orientation (Backdated 4 Feb) >>>
Tuesday, February 06, 2018
4:08 PM

Yesterday evening (3rd feb) i went with my OG(orientation group) to suntec city's 'sky garden' at the 5th floor or something to have dinner. After dinner, we were playing group games. One of the games was called "nasi lemak" which requires you to sit in the circle. Then everybody willl put the left palm on the lap and the right palm will tap alternately, his own left palm, and the left palm on the person sitting on the right. Everyone will start by saying "Na-si-lem-ak, nasi lemak nasi lemak". One person (pre selected) will get the ball rolling by saying "Na" (the first syllable of Nasi lemak) then the next person (pre defined, depending on whether it would be going clockwise or anti clockwise) will say the second syllable "Si", the thrid "Le" and the forth "Mak". The fifth person however, will add the word "Hot" to it. The process is repeated as you go around the circle, adding one more "Hot" at the end. Thus more and more "Hots" will be added and people tend to lose track. That is where the forfeit comes in. If you lose track, or you say the wrong syllable, you are supposed to do a forfeit. So a few people in front of me did forfeits. Then I realised that the longer the game goes, the ratio of "Hot" to the other syllables drastically increases (ie by the time there are 36 "hot"s, the chances of saying a "hot" is 90%, since na, si, le and mak are 4 syllables out of 40). Therefore, I devised a strategy just to say "hot" everytime I need to say anything. So when I started playing the game, I was quite determined to do the forfeit. This is because, the more i'm willing to do the forfeit, the less thrill or fun the rest of the OG gets out of watching. Btw there are girls. So, during the first round, I purposely lagged and didn't say anything when it game to my turn. Too bad that everyone decided to give me a chance - damn. So the person on my left restarted the game, since it was interrupted. However, when he said "Na" (I'm supposed to say "Si"), I just said "Hot", using the above logic. Very obviously, they could tell that I wanted to do the forfeit on purpose. Anyway I did the forfeit. I climbed onto the playground thingy that u can see at the far end of this picture. The rest of the people who did forfeits at first did that, so I followed suit. I did it willingly though. So, I climbed up there contemplaating what to do. Since the first few people were supposed to shout something at the top of the playground thing, I did the same. Jun Wei sitting directly below me was like "NO NO NO! PLEASE DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID" Well, at least he could guess what I was going to do. Thankfully, at that time of the night, about 8 plus, there wasn't anybody there except for a few people standing further away, smoking.

Anyway, guess what: I started spamming my Alphabet A to Z (click here). Ignoring the presence of the girls, definitely. A good number of them were OGLs( Orientation Group Leaders). God knows the impression they have of me now. I am very certain that its a matter of time before the entire college knows about it. People were laughing, rolling on the floor, refusing to face reality by putting their hands on their ears. I have no idea how that will help because they could obviously hear me loud and clear despite the hands on the ears. A good number of people were shouting, pleading that I stopped. Unfortunately, I was at the letter "O" and I could not stop abruptly. Thus I went on to complete the alphabet. The appeared to be rather shocked, as I expected. But beyond my anticipation was that they guys (including the JC2 OGLs who were there) were equally shocked. Very obviously, they were trying to act innocent (-_-").

Victoria Junior College it is.

As much disappointment as I feel, I guess everything was within my expectations - I deduced that it wouldnt be easy getting into RI(JC) and HCI this year (due to smaller intake).

Getting into VJC marks a new chapter in my education, a new chapter in my life. Will it bring new opportunities and/or disappointments? Only future will tell. Having received a call this morning, I was put into the Orientation Group (OG) "thor" "pok"... ... God knows why it was called this in the first place.

Into JC I go, hoping to take Bio, Chem, Maths, Econs. Hoping to take 2 H3s - Maybe will have to drop 1 subject to H1.

No doubt, in VJ, the jouney 55 will take 1 hour 15 + but i guess I don't really have a choice - moving house is not an option.

All said, I don't think I will be going back to CHS as often as I originally imagined that I would (if I were in HCI/RI(JC)). To the Nucleii/ICC guys: Good luck and all the best to the year ahead. If you guys want to catch me, try Saturdays (minus the afternoon-evening, coz I have church).
