STUDY RULE #1: NEVER MUG FOR TESTS/EXAMS. >>>
Saturday, April 28, 2018
9:32 PM

ITS IS NOW PROVEN!

We should NEVER study for tests and exams.

I don't really know what's wrong with me/ my class. For a recent econs progress test, I scored a mere 14.5/20, AND WHAT THE HELL!!!???? ITS THE HIGHEST IN CLASS!?!?!

It's not boasting or what... but 14.5/20 is only 72.5% WHICH IS A CRAPPY SCORE!!! Seriously, I really really, didn't study for it. I came to school and saw a few people mugging, then I realised. But too late! I left my notes at home. Thus I didn't touch any econs stuff until Dr Ranga's lesson, which was after feeling fab/arts fest opening. I totally couldn't do question 1c. I smoked my way through and got 2/6. Must draw PPC so I just drew one - Then I spam everything that was left in my tiny brain, about the PPC and all the CPE stuff.

Dr Ranga clearly pointed out that my class did the worst for the test. This explains it though. Honestly I think something need to be done, as in seriously. only 4 people passed this test?!? How very absurd! Anyway, I should think that most people were taking it very lightly this time.

Finally, the irony: People who didnt study, and play solitaire during V28 lessons scored better than those who were paying attention. Humiliating, huh...

Project: Blue Carpet >>>

I have commented on people who treat IT inclined people as technical support recently.

Now the question covers a broader scope - service.

Recently, I was pulled to direct and produce a video for CHS together with Mr Wee. The codename for it is: Blue Carpet. Honestly, i'm really excited because i'm going to be working with iMedia again. After 4 years =D I really don't know what to expect from the crew. I reckon its going to a great experience for myself and for the crew.

I was however greatly saddened by the state of the equipment that I saw in the studio. Most of the less used equipment were badly maintained. Not because the students' didn't maintain them, but because they can't and don't have the relevant skill/equipment to do so. Sending their equipment for professional maintenance was probably the last things on the teachers' minds. What is the point of having such good equipment in the first place? Thankfully, the sound equipment (which requires lesser maintenance) was in better order.

At least, it is really heartening that I have a team that is willing to go the extra mile for the school. It is the first time that I am directing and leading a film production of this sort. I can sense that it is going to be very fun and exciting:) The iMedia crew themselves really enthuse me to bring this project to excellence. I hope to receive all the support possible from everyone involved - the deadline is really tight(end Apr).
