I just realised that this is my 61st post on this blog ^^
Thanks to the people who have been viewing it too. ^^
CNY was really uneventful. My family only visited 3 houses this year. I guess its due to the passing of my Uncle and my Grandmother (maternal). Therefore, I received VERY VERY few red packets...=( Sigh...
I haven't really counted my money, but initial estimates put it to a 2 digit number. I don't even know if it will be above $50. Sad.
But a consolation is that I only put on 2 kg from the visiting. =D
Usually, I wouldn't be surprised to put on like 5kg or so..
However, my personal fitness levels are still down the dumps. My 2.4 timing today was like 12:30............................
I really need to put in more effort to train myself.
JAE posting results will be out on this friday. 8am apparently. I can feel apprehension creeping into me =S
Hopefully I can get into my dream college. Anyway, worst case is VJC... or if there's a disaster, NJC (where 1 of Jian Ming's sis studies XD)
2/2/09 JC1 officially begins. "Time flies" - Mr Tan Ping Hock
O levels seemed like yesterday... I wish I could go through O levels all over again =| (NOT A LEVELS BTW... A LEVELS ARE A KILLER FROM WHAT I KNOW). Not refering to the invigilators btw.
I have been going to CHS quite often this year... but I think once school starts, I will have to leave Nucleii and ICC behind me. I dont intend to come back more than once a week. Maybe some weeks twice. I doubt I will be free anyway.
I don't think I'll be free to blog as well. From now till I blog again. Cya ^^

A time for everything >>>

8:52 PM
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

9:32 PM
Finally went back to school to get my stuff. WALKED from hougang to bishan to get my camp stuff. I left them in school after camp... (-_-")
Analyzed the data input by the members. Comprehension was on the 'hate' list for quite a few ppl. Also in the 'hate' list was morning PT and Breaking Camp. LOL.
Surprisingly, 4 people's feedback ( i dont know who) stated that they listed the lectures as most/2nd most liked activity... How very ironic. Cleaning up of all kinds, be it bunk/waterbomb/clues was also very much hated. Newspaper activity was surprisingly liked by many too. Haha. Though its not the highlight of the camp.
Feedback also gave me a little bit of encouragement, some saying that it was well planned, fun, it was a fun camp, etc, mainly coz I was doing it single handedly. Haha.
However, I'm not sure how much of the feedback and other written stuff were taken seriously. Well, knowing the guys... writing isnt really their forte. Of coz, there were some who really put in effort to give me accurate feedback (mainly excos) but also, a sizable number who were writing to appease me. How sad =(.
Silver linings - Consolations... (AND, NO I DO NOT USE THIS AS A BRAGGING PLATFORM!)
1. ~50+% felt my lectures were the most interesting (the remaining 5 feedback felt mr wee's was most interesting). HOW IRONIC AGAIN...(-_-")
2. Firedrill (or lack thereof) - Never trust my itinerary. HAHA.
3. Punishments to be meted out? - Some1 correctly pointed out that there were some times that I was pissed but I didn't knock anyone down or whatsoever. He correctly said that I was restraining myself. Yes I was. I didn't want to punish anyone anyway. Haha.
Negative feedback (nothing to do with homeostasis) that was more useful to me...
1. Insufficient practical chances to try out new knowledge - Very true, to a large extent. The lectures really were meant to equip everyone with the knowledge to deal with situations and stuff, but there wasn't really time to simulate all such environments. What a pity.
2. Long Lectures - (-_-") Mixed response for this. Lectures are basically meant to reinforce knowledge/skills learnt during the activities more "formally". Certainly, it is never the best method for knowledge acquisition
3. Longer duration of the camp... - Well, initially I wanted to plan a 4 day 3 night camp. However, though it would be more spaced out, doing everything alone might take its toll on me. As it is, 3 day 2 nights, I already had very little sleep. If it were to be 4 days 3 nights, I would probably be 1/2 dead by the end of the camp. LOL. I think given the experience this time round, running a 4 day 3 night camp should not be a problem, even if i'm doing it alone. Provided I factor in enough sleep for MYSELF, and stop going to the piano in the middle of the night to play songs in minor keys...
4. Food - Some people liked having the autonomy of being able to eat outside, but others preferred to have food catered. Once again, mixed response. Catering food was not an option for this camp, because of the lack of time to plan. Though its not really an excuse (as it could have been done earlier), but Mr Ng's late response left me little time to react. Food actually allow one more activity - breakfast planning.
5. Tough PT? - Nah... I beg to differ. PT was not tough at all. I was not PTI, that's why.
6. Pareto's Principle - Ok. My mistake. Overestimation of their abilities.
Anyway, It was a really inspirational camp, even for me. I really learnt alot, both from the Excos and the Leaders - once again, a million thanks :D
The scores aren't really representative, but the results:
Team 1 scored 75 points, while team 2 scored 155 points.
Individual scores have yet to be tabulated. Standby for an email from me, guys ;P.

I was watching the countdown from behind my television set. Countdown party was a complete and utter disaster. Plenty of screwups everywhere. Sigh...
Anyway, to all my friends and others viewing this blog, I hereby am wishing you a very happy and prosperous new year.
